The Ambassadors have extensive experience with life science research and business. They are recruited to the Programme based on their knowledge of their home cluster, the language and customs of the host cluster to which they will be assigned along with extensive experience in sales, marketing and negotiations at the highest level.
The Ambassadors are chosen, based on their backgrounds, training and experience, to provide the best possible link for expanding and facilitating your international network.
One good example of an archetypal Life Science Ambassador is Medicon Valley's Ambassador posted in Kobe-Kansai, Thomas Jonsson. Thomas was born and educated in Sweden and speaks the Scandinavian languages. In his professional life Thomas has been working both in the Medicon Valley area and for more than 15 years in Japanese life science. He is fluent in Japanese and very familiar with the Japanese business culture. Thomas' background and training enables him to act as a perfect link between Kobe-Kansai and Medicon Valley.
